Fred's Card Loft Home
Serving collectors since 1988. Fred's Card Loft has been selling baseball, hockey, basketball, football and soccer cards at card conventions, at auction and online. More recent offerings include non-sports cards, comics, Star Wars collectibles and Lego. Founded in North Chelmsford, MA and currrently located in Atkinson, NH.

Baseball Cards In the past 40 years choices of brands and sets has expanded so broadly that one needs to be selective about what they collect. As quoted by comedian Steven Wright, 'you can't have everything, where would you put it'. When I was young collecting cards the only game in town was Topps and only with the base set....no inserts. The wait was for the next series finally got to the corner store so you could get your packs to complete your set. What a thrill when you pulled a player from your favorite team from a pack, or got an 'action' card and not a boring BHNH (big head no hat) shot.
The final product these days is so much better than it was in the past. Cards with foil printing or clear coating have outstanding durability compared to the older cards.

Hockey Cards The expansion in colleting choices has also increase in the hockey card area with the maturning process happening a bit later. My brother and I used to give each other a wax box of cards for Christmas morning, after the initial 'surprise' we would later dig into the packs and know by the end of the day if we had filled out our sets.
I can remember pulling my favorite Bruin players and upon closer look they had on their polyester street pants under the uniform top. By today's standards of action packed photos those older 'polyester pants' cards now appear funny.

Lego Sets / Lots Lego is a great toy for the young and old. The building kits help with motor skills, understanding of engineering concepts and patience. Some of the more recent collector sets are so specialized, you feel like you are flying the ship from the movie or reliving that action packed scene |
Star Wars The Star Wars universe is an awesome one. The collectibles are plenty. Movie cards, figures, Lego sets and childrens clothing just to name a few. |

Display Cases If you have a Lego or figure collection that you like to display, but don't like the dust that the collection will typically build up in a month these are for you. The display case is like a 3d picture frame, allowing for the display of the item without the dust. The cases are back loaded, so once you pose your figures you can insert the appropriate back drop |
Non Sports Cards What better way to bring the children close to the adults with a collection of their favorite movie cards. I remember collecting Toy Story, Little Mermaid and Pokeman cards with my children while they were growing up. |
